HISTORY ON INTEREST RATES
over the past 30 years
In 1981 interest rates were at an all time high of 20% and over the next 10 years reduced to 12%. Today's rates averaging in the 4.5% range allows affordability to own real estate. Mississauga is a very diverse, dynamic and progressive municipality. Recently, Premier Dalton McGuinty announced an additional $1.1 billion in municipal infrastructure with $25 million set for the City of Mississauga. City Council to address the long-term infrastructure of our transit, roadways, emergency services and community centers.
The population has grown substantially and the City of Mississauga is now Canada's sixth largest City with a population of more than 700,000.
